The government eCourts portal is a database: one case at a time, a CAPTCHA every time, and no reminders. An advocate with 80 cases at Patna Civil Court or the Lucknow Bench can spend an hour every morning checking dates. e-Court is the practice-management tool on top of it.

What e-Court does today

Import by CNR number from eCourts; add High Court, NCLT and other cases by hand
Hearing reminders in the app and by e-mail 7, 2 and 1 day before and on the morning of the hearing — for the advocate and the client
7 AM hearing list — today's and tomorrow's hearings across all cases
Next-date alerts to the client when a date changes
Client portal — clients see their next date, bills and message the advocate per case
GST bills and fees with SAC code, reverse charge or CGST / SGST / IGST, and fee reminders
File storage per case — vakalatnama, orders, judgments
Tasks for juniors and clerks, with role-based access and an audit trail
Android app on Google Play, and a verified advocate directory

Coming next (not yet live): WhatsApp / SMS alerts, AI drafting, document OCR and automatic tracking beyond eCourts.
